Common Uses: In Egypt, Blue Lotus was often consumed soaked in wine to embibe the flower's sacred euphoric affects. Modern science has discovered these effects result from mood uplifting alkaloids unique to the plant. Active alkaloids in Blue Lotus are alcohol soluble but not water soluble.
